So I pretty much forgot that I have the WordPress app on my phone and now that I actually have an iPhone, I’m no longer constrained to my computer for blogging with photos! So this is a first and we’ll see how it goes. I’m not really sure how things will work as far as my plugins and theme go, so this may not happen often.

In any case, I’ve been in D.C. for about a week or so while Toni is attending a class at NDU before we take a bit of leave and finally end up in Germany! I’ve been here many, many times in the past as my dad used to come out here almost every summer while I was in junior high school for work. My brother mom and I would spend days (sweltering days, so I’m happy with the weather this time around) visiting monuments, memorials and museums. So it’s fair to say that I’ve seen a LOT of the sights here. I’m loving seeing the new additions to old museums and seeing some of the familiar sights from my childhood. I am a bit bummed that the Washington Monument is still closed after the earthquake (I assume that’s why it’s closed) as it’s one of the things I haven’t done and we’ve had some amazingly clear days. So I’ve had to make due with views from the outside. I’m having a lot of fun too playing around with instagram (I’m travelingross) and actually having a compact camera, albeit one with a fixed lens and other limitations. Good times! So here’s at least one (not sure yet how to add a gallery from the phone) photo from my wanderings!

Enjoy!
