Took a solo trip down to the sleepy little island of Jogashima for a little off-season sight seeing. It's a small island at the tip of the Miura Peninsula about 2 hours by train and bus from home, then a couple hours to stroll around about a third of it. All in all, a bit surprising! Got there around 2:30 or so and wandered until about 6 or so after the sun had set. I really did not expect to see the cormorants (at least I am pretty sure that is what they are) as I couldn't see the cliffs in my Google Earth recon and didn't see anything about them in my searches online... not that I looked all that hard, I just wanted to find out how to make it to the Island!
